PREMIER DRIVERS – STOKE LGV 2 DRIVER Monday to Friday – Temp to Perm .
Premier Drivers stoke are recruiting for a LGV 2 day driver for day work Monday to Friday with some nights out.
It’s working for a market leader in there field of operations, so a great place to get your driving career on the road.
The role is doing delivery’s on regular and set runs on a day shift working Monday to Friday starting round 0600am depending on volumes.
There is some handball on the role but the bulk of the delivery’s would be unloaded via fork trucks at customer sites.
Due to nature of the role there will be nights out expected during the week maybe one or two a week.
This is a Temp to Perm role once you have completed 12 weeks you will transfer across to the client and be full time with them.
Full training is given on the role and to start with you would go out with another driver to learn the role.
Experience of driving manual vehicles would be preferred but not essential as some of the vehicles are automatic.
Use of straps and curtain side vehicles would also be preferred, but not essential.
You would need to have at least 6 months on your Class 2 licence.
As some of the runs are set you would get to know the drops and also areas.
Drivers must have
- Full UK licence
- Valid CPC
- Digital Tachograph
- No more then 6 points
NO IN OR DR CODES on your license.
Rates from £13.50.
Holiday pay paid is included in the rate.
